Building Department

The Building Department is responsible for reviewing and inspecting all building permit applications for the City of Cle Elum. Our goal is to provide a high level of building safety through the enforcement of a comprehensive body of building and fire codes. While safety is our primary mission we also help ensure that your building is energy efficient and provides a comfortable, healthy atmosphere.
