Full Time City Planner Position
Salary Range:  $75,461 – $91,724 per year plus excellent benefits!

We are now recruiting to fill our full-time City Planning position.  The City Planning position offers a unique opportunity to make an immediate contribution while affording an opportunity to grow with the position and to help build a planning department as we transition from a small to a medium sized city. We are looking for a highly motivated person with at least four years of increasingly responsible local government planning experience, with a particular emphasis on the ability to review land use and developments applications. The proven ability to establish and implement an annual work program, set priorities, multi-task, effectively communicate orally and in writing, and work productively both individually and as a member of a team are also important considerations. While knowledge of planning laws and court decisions in Washington State is desirable, we do not want to discourage those with municipal planning experience in other states from applying.
