Only PDF versions of permit applications, site plans, construction drawings, and other required documents will be accepted. Submissions in any other format or missing required information will be rejected. Each document must be clearly labeled and submitted as a separate, individual PDF file.
Required names to title all individual submittals:
- “Owners Name – Signed Building Permit Application”
- “Owners Name – Building Plans”
- “Owners Name – Site Plan”
- “Owners Name – Structural Calculations” (if Required)
- “Owners Name – Geotechnical Report” (if Required)
- “Owners Name – Truss Sheets & Layout”
- “Owners Name – Energy Credits Worksheet” (Unless Incorporated into Plans)
- “Owners Name – Thermal Envelope Worksheet” (Unless Incorporated into Plans)
- “Owners Name – Ventilation Requirement Worksheet” (Unless Incorporated into Plans)
- “Owners Name – HVAC Sizing Worksheet” (Unless Incorporated into Plans)
- “Owners Name – Other Required Documents”

Once your submission is received, a Permit Technician will review it and notify you of its acceptance or denial. If denied, you will be provided with the reason, and a full resubmittal of all documents will be required. Please note that a monetary deposit is necessary to complete the intake process. Once the deposit is received, a permit number will be assigned, and your application will be placed in the review queue.
Important: Email submissions with file sizes over 35MB will not be received. If your documents exceed this limit, please send them in multiple, clearly labeled emails. If you do not receive a response within two business days, contact our office at (509) 674-2262.
