The proposed off-leash dog park project is planned for 2020 and includes:
- 1-acre fenced dog park area
- Water
- Storage shed
- Informational signage
- DRAFT SITE PLAN
Permitting
- State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Checklist and Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS)
- Location: the proposed dog park location (see maps in the SEPA Checklist above) is accessed from the eastern entrance of the Laurel Hill Memorial Cemetery. Drive west on Douglas Munro Blvd past the Warrior Quick Stop, take the next right after the US Forest Service property. If needed, parking should be on Douglas Munro Blvd.
Construction
Construction is anticipated to begin as soon as permits are completed and a fencing company is under contract, and project updates will be shared on this webpage.
