All rates are in cubic feet. One cubic foot is equal to approximately seven and one-half (7 1/2) gallons. A stand by rate (equal to the base rate above) will be charged regardless of water usage.
*Includes first 1200 cubic feet of usage, Then:
The next 800 cubic feet or portion of x $0.013 per cubic foot.
The next 2000 cubic feet or portion of x $0.015 per cubic foot.
And any amount over 4000 cubic feet x $0.017 per cubic foot.
*Each line is also billed a Water Reserve charge of $9.95. This reserve fund was established to account for funds, which are intended to be used for water improvements. Expenditures from this fund shall be used solely for improvements to the water system of the city.
The City of Cle Elum also charges a 6% utilities tax on all water services.
