Access to telephone and communication services is available for people who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing, and speech disabled   

Per Resolution No. 2022-023

The City of Cle Elum uses Washington Telecommunication Relay Services (WATRS), also known as Washington Relay to provide telephone access to city services for persons with hearing impairment or speech loss.

Anyone wishing to use WATRS should dial 711 or 1-800-833-6384 to connect with a specially trained Communication Assistant who will dial the requested number and relay the conversation between the two callers. Either a person with specialized telecommunication equipment or a person using a standard phone may initiate a call.
